My first vacation this year and I'm using it to spend some cash. So far I've bought a notebook plus wireless router and a couple of cd's. I loves my new notebook, it sure beats the 800 MHz desktop I've had since 2000. Vista isn't that bad either, though it sucks that the HP people install so much crap on it that I don't want (Norton ) but I guess I can't blame Vista for that. Oh, and I finally have enough space on my drive for a Linux dualboot.

Borrowed the dvd from a friend of mine, and as expected, it featured every cliché in the book. Though in Stephen King's defence, he wrote the story somewhere in the early eighties when it was probably all very fresh.

So, in the last couple of weeks, I've been browsing this dating site and so far, it's not going according to plan. My favourite record store moved to a different location and they forgot to tell me their new address. Luckily someone at work knew where it went, but it really was a close call. I'd lost my record store for an entire 6 hours! What if I had to make an emergency purchase?
