Wow, it's been a long time since I have written in my journal here. Guess at times I forget about it. Have to leave here at home in less in a hour to go and have an MRI at the hospital. My shoulder has been giving me a lot of problems now for over a month. Doctors thought that some physical therapy would help, but it's not getting any better. Man this weather we have been having has me wanting to stay indoors. High tomorrow in the low teens. My heating bill is going to be really high. I had a guy come over to the house to see about extra installation put into the attic. It's going to cost me over $1500, so maybe I'll just think on it.

I finally put up my tree with the help of a good friend. My mom was always part of my Christmas, and this is the first Christmas with out her. Gosh, I can't believe it's been four months since she passed away. I am still seeing the grief counselor, and she said that all of these mixture of emotions that I am feeling are normal. Today was a sad day for me. It was one month ago today that my mother passed away. It was a beautiful day so I went to the cemetery to put some fall looking flowers on both of my parents. grave. I just stood there and talked to both of them and told them how much I loved and missed them. I really felt that their presence there. I am still taking it one day at a time,and I am seeing a Grief Counselor who is helping me with my grief. I also have some good friends who are a great support to me, so...

Today I went to see a grief counselor at the funeral home that my mother was laid out. It was good talking to someone in that field. I am dealing with a lot of emotions right now, and she said that it was only natural. She told me that losing the 2nd parent is so much harder to take. You feel like an orphan. Plus my 2 brothers and their families live out of state so I feel even more alone.
I will be going back to see the counselor on Tuesday. Also I will be going back to work tomorrow just...

I had gum surgery last Friday, and I am still in a lot of discomfort. I have been living on soft foods all week. I get my stitches out this Thursday, and I hope after they are taken out I'll feel better.
Other than that, I am pretty well moved in with my mom. She has her good and bad days. I had her to the doctor's last week and he is please with her progress.

Well the big weekend is over and I did enjoy the time off. Went shopping with my cousin today, but did not buy much. Later we had a picnic with more family memebers. Decided to have a bon fire outside, and roast marshmallows. My cousin plays guitar, so we sat around and sang songs. A nice way to end the evening.
Back to work tomorrow morning.

I have family visiting me , and they wanted to go to the site, where Flight 93 crashed on 9/11 . It's about 50 miles from where I live. When we arrived there were a lot of people who came to give their respects. It was very quiet and somber, and very sad for the people who lost their lives due to this horrible act. You can't get very near the actual site, for it is nothing but a field there. There is a fence with all sorts of memorabilia, flags, flowers and wreaths to remember these brave people...

Had a great 4th of July. Celebrated with family and friends and eat too much and had a little bit too much to drink. Everyone watched the fireworks in our front yard, and they were the best that we had in years. It's very nice to have the next two days off work, and I'm going on a day trip tomorrow. Must go to bed, cause I'm beat.

It was really staring to get to me to with out seeing the sun. I think that I will do some work in my garden. Things are starting to grow out of control with all the rain we had. I grow flowers, and all kinds of herbs,which I use in my cooking.

Just found out this week that I will have to work one Saturday a month. Could be worse I think. It is nice to have the weekend off, but some people don't have that option, so I won't complain.

Today was a very busy and long day working on a project for a fund raiser. So I'm really beat. It also snowed again today. and here it is the end of March. Crazy weather. It's to get up to 70 on Thrusday.
