Well, sort of.

We're in the middle of a nasty snow storm here in Milwaukee. Only a few inches last night, but we're supposed to get a lot more today. They say thundersnow can cause 1-2 inches of snowfall per hour!

The office is open, but I just didn't have the patience or energy to face yet another commute to and from the office in the midst of a snow storm.

Therefore, I made the executive decision to work from home today. So, here I am, drinking...

I think I am ok with it. I am not freaking out about it or anything like that.

I have just been really reflective lately -- taking stock of all I have accomplished and how they measure up to where I thought I would be at the age of 30.

I am happy with where I am.

Are there unmet goals/hopes/dreams.

Sure.

But, on the whole, I am very lucky to have the life I have....

I am so terrible about writing here with any regularity.

Things have been going well with me. The summer has flown by -- between trips "up north" and the endless list of festivals and fairs in Southeastern Wisconsin, I have not been bored.

I am looking forward to the fall ... I'll be going to Vegas on business for a week in early October; turning 30 at the end of November; and sometime before Christmas have an opportunity to shadow a funeral director...
