here i am... back from a day in the city...

4 cuban margaritas later i have had:

cuban queso with corn cakes and chipotle corn
caesar salad with chipotle-lemon dressing and red onions
vegetable platter with mixed veggies, potatoes, portobello mushrooms all in a ancho-chipotle sauce
and to top it off - yes, folks, there is more -
ancho-chile chocolate sauce on chocolate cake.

Wow. What a long, strange and stressful couple weeks it has been. I have had repeated heart palpitations and dimished lung capacity for a little over a week now. The other night I was quite certain I was going to be hospitalized. My stress has been that finite. I won't enumerate everything here, but if anyone is listening out there - please learn the wonderful art of counting to 10 and deep breathing - it might save your life one day. I'm not a petty person, and don't tend to overreact to the point...

i have to go back to TLH tomorrow for the weekend - i'm not happy about that because i hate that town, but have no choice in the matter as this is for my boyfriend's family and some birthdays. i called my best friend from high school today to see if she'd be in town and back from Europe, and she was - which adds another stress to my plate because she and i haven't been close in years.. mainly because of who i took as a boyfriend.

I can't believe it's been 8 days since my last journal. I hate to think I've had nothing to write about - but that might just be the case. I feel like writing now, but don't know how to say. That was the wait time yesterday when I got to the casting call. 6 hours! Thousands of people! It was spoiling for a huge storm, and so we got all MacGyver-like and eeked out the address some select people were giving out to send our "talent sheet" to - the very same sheet the line-waiters were just waiting to stick in a box.
