So I've worked through most of my overtime... thank frig fer that! One more double shift to do and then it's finally done, at least for a few weeks anyway.

So I say to hubby; when can we get a dog?

He sez in about a year.

so I'm at work, minding my own business. Someone comes into reception holding a puppy. I found him wandering about in your drive she says. I have to go out to meet said puppy don't I? Can't miss a chance like that.

We can't put it back outside, I says. It's a busy road out there. So we takes it upstairs to our 'conference room' and the secretary dog sits whilst I phone for the dog warden to collect it. Ten minutes later a guy comes in holding another puppy, same as the last...

So this week I have loads of overtime to do. Double shifts.... It's a joke. Three weeks ago I asked if I could cut my hours. Yes, they said, then what happens? Even more overtime then usual...ack...

Well, yesterday my neice came to take away her hamster that I'd been looking after whilst she went on holiday. Only had him for a week and this morning I missed him...how sad is that! Pfft.... I really must get a life....
