I've been seeing things in a more artistic light lately.. I don't know if that's due to a spiritual awakening or what. I have ideas coming out of the wazoo.. Freeze frame images in my mind of pictures I'd have liked to have gotten. A crow standing on a guardrail.. a mother on her cellphone sitting on a concrete block while her son waits patiently beside her. Light, lines... darkness and light.

Well, for about a week or so my foot has really been bothering me. I had a foot cramp, which I have from time to time.. usually they last five.. ten minutes tops.. but I had one that lasted half an hour and was absolutely excruciating.

After that episode, my foot has decided not to play nice. I'll be fine for the morning but come the afternoon and evening.. my foot gets really uncomfortable.. not going into a full cramp.. but very tense and stiff. I have to hobble around at work...

I felt pretty good today.. even with the news that this project may end sooner than anticipated

I got home, ate, took a shower.. and then my stomach turned on me.

It's been muttering, my stomach, now all evening. I've sent some random pink coating medicine that tasted like peppermint goo down to calm down the ruckus. Hoping that it's just a passing feeling and not a flu.

An odd occurrence for us Maritimers.. you could rarely describe us as tropics. Although, oddly enough.. it's arrival is on the anniversary of Hurricane Juan's destructive visit through Nova Scotia. To the day. Creepy.

Lately, slowly, I've noticed I'm becoming interested in the artist side of me once again. It's something I've pushed aside for many years, inspiration a hard commodity to come by. Well, work has been going pretty well. They let us hook our earphones into the computers so we can listen to online radio stations. I'm drawn to RTE 2 FM. I'm now addicted. Love it. It's like a little holiday in my ears. I actually feel like I'm back in Ireland just by listening to it. Sounds strange, I'm sure.. but that's the way it is.

I finally got the black and white film developed. 34 bucks to get the bloody thing done. Still, the pictures are very sharp. So that's what counts...
