was epic...rhianna and lupe and N.E.R.D opened and nerd was definetly the best, they had so much energy and even though i knew none of there songs it was still great...kanye's performance was really good and this was my first rap concert so idk if this is normal but it was like a play so it lacked some spontaneity but it was still good...although pretty lame when he had a giant woman robot come floating in inbetween songs, it was just wierd

so apparently there were several sightings of bono in san diego over the last 2 days and so i spent my day running around downtown san diego shouting "BONO!" looking for him...eventually i made my way to an indie music festival hoping he might show up, my day was unsucessful but bono was definetly there in spirit, one singer told the god pretending to be bono joke and snippeted one during a song...a failure but very fun

the fires have passed my house and now are farther north so we drove back home but on the way back, the fires were right next to the freeway, huge flames, about 8 different fires burning, its terrible...the air quality sucks still so i'm stuck inside for the rest of the week but its good to be home

there are now 8 fires in san diego county. all schools are closed and we are packing our stuff and getting away. Its really bad, the night was red and now the sky is black. Im pushing for us to go to disneyland to distract us from the fact that our house might burn down. If i'm not around for a while, you know why.
