Not really no, the book only mentions the MDH soundtrack very briefly u2girl, I think the most relevant quote is this one from Adam though:

'There were a couple of songs that might have become U2 songs (that ended up on the MDH soundtrack) but they were the kind of atmospheric mid-tempo pieces that we come up with quite easily. They can be quite pretty but they're a different kind of music to the rock 'n' roll records that we like to make thay can really jump out of the radio and perhaps change your life'.
