This song IS my mother and I and our relationship lately. The regret, the sadness and the stubborness of us both. Every t9ime I hear this song I cry. It was like Bono wrote it just for me, every line of it. You love someone but you can't get along with them. My mom is the reason I survived through my worst times but now she's going through rough health times and she won't let me help her. But she's so dam stubborn.we fight all the time...

When the band plays live, some songs have a habit of getting more emotional and spiritual. There is a moment on Sydney Zoo TV Live where the lyrics from Lemon blend perfectly into With or Without You.

See the stone set in your eyes

It is one of my favorite U2 moments. I think the music and lyrics just meld into one another perfectly.

'The sun comes up over One Tree Hill' has always been a line that gets my spine goin!

I think, for that one line, its shows so much positivity/hope, thou it prob means something else.
