I think that pic of Bono was taken in Sept. 2006 at a (RED) event in London sponso(red) by Armani, Rosebud.

If someone else knows for sure, please let us know.

I believe it is actually from the NY Film Festival October 7, 2006, from the
New York film festival premiere of 'Volver'.

That very well could be, bonocomet, but if anyone would find the pics from the event that I mentioned above, I think that Bono was wearing that same outfit above at the Armani event.

There is a U2 marathon going on all weekend at the radio station listed below. You can listen below to the marathon online!

Right now they're playing my favorite newly discove(red) U2 song "Angels Tied to the Ground" and now "40".

I'm guessing it's the Volver premiere, since both Bono AND Helena are wearing the same outfits in this pic as the thread for the film. That would be some coincidence otherwise!

btw, Volver is a wonderful film, if any of you haven't seen it. Sweet and smart, and P. Cruz was incredible in it!

Yes Bono was wearing that same outfit at the Armani event. But the large pic above is from the Volver premier in NY, you can see the same pic and others in the link I posted. He actually wore it to another event in Australia or NZ I think too... all the events were within weeks of each other.

I love that both he and Ali "repeat" outfits.

So many celebs would never be caught dead in the same outfit twice which is so ridiculous.
