I've not thought about that untill now.
But even though Bela and Lovey are females (but spayed) I would say Bela is Larry, always hiding but comes out to play when necessary, relunctantly. Lovey is Edge, extroverted but introspective, Jack is Bono, always getting attention whether he wants it or not. And Max is Adam, sleek and a bit reclusive, but has that fun twinkle in his eyes.

Too bad there's so much crap in the background of this pic
I'm going to start using Poshie's pics for Lovey. That's just like something she would say too Jack, if she could.

okay, Im going to ask the most ridiculous question ever!

but, can cats be fussy where they lie, or especially if you bring new material in for them to lie on, because they maybe prefer the feeling of one?

I would be more worried if my cats weren’t fussy...

Cats are fussy about almost everything usually...

Oh, definitely -- and they change the particular spots they sleep in -- I've read it's a survival thing -- change your place of rest so your enemies can't find you (which is good for all of us, too!)

We have a large basket on our kitchen counter that Jack was fond of, then not. I started putting fruit, etc. in it, then he concluded he wanted back in "his" basket. The other night he had his front two legs in, one hind leg in and couldn't figure out how to manage the last hind leg. DD and I were laughing hysterically, he finally just dragged in up into the basket and looked at us to remove the offending items from *his* basket. Maybe I should change Jack as being the "Larry" in our group. (Jack also sleeps in the guest room linen closet, up on the 3rd shelf on towels. )

Three out of four sleeping together - -a rare occasion!! (Murphy, Jack and Neo -- Murphy is a Maine Coon and this summer we gave him a hair cut --we're in Florida and he seems to appreciate the buzz cut ..)

love the pic! Maine Coon? wow, must cost a lot to feed?

anyhow, naah it was just, our big one never went into the new beds until we put down a certain material. I was like .

Still, I wish they were kittens again. nothing beats the cuteness of a tired kitty, or one trying to clean itself for the first time!

This camera tends to have perspective issues (things closer to the camera appear bigger), but Murphy is a *big* cat -- 20 pounds (and when he has his long fur he's totally ginormous). Jack is around 14 lbs. and Neo is 17 lbs. Missing Smokey is in the 17-18 lb. range, too.

I agree about missing little baby kitties -- too bad there isn't a small breed (like miniature dogs).

Our cats all love the chenille throws we have on the beds (the red blanket in the picture is referred to as "Little Red Blankie," -- Smokey and particularly Jack, love to get on it and "knead bread." Jack gets into a zone!

Our cats are doing a lot of belly-up down here (especially Murphy and especially when the air conditioning comes on). She's a beauty!
