Not at all. WildHoneyAlways seems to be pushing the panic button, though. And I'm starting to hear a few more of my friends complain about little things that shouldn't be complained about. Not me.
I love our team, as I have all year. And I'm as confident in them now as I have been at any point throughout the season. |

Yanks acquire Pudge Rodriguez for Kyle Farnsworth.
Not saying that this guarantees anything, but, I'm pleased with the deal. The Yanks pen has been outstanding since Joba moved, and I think we can do without Kyle. Adding Marte helps, too. Plus, Bruney and Hughes are rehabbing.....Pudge is obviously not what he once was, but he's having a decent year at the plate, still has a good arm and has been in playoff runs/the post-season numerous times. I'm pleased with the trade.

Yeah, I liked Farnsy, but if Molina were to go down, the Yanks would've only had Moler to back him up. Farnsy's contract was almost up anyway and the Yanks probably wouldn't have re-signed him. The Yanks got Pudge just in time because the Angels have a nasty habit of running wild on the Yanks.
I think this trade helps both the Yanks and the Tigers.

I was going to repost that for you, but I was going to wait until after the outcome of tonight's game.
Oh, and you know how you talk about intolerable ass clowns at Wrigley: Quote:

Let's hope the starting pitching for Boston in this series was an anomaly, cuz it sure didn't look so good.

Trade rumors:
Red Sox in a three way trade sending Manny to the Marlins and somehow getting the Pirates involved. Who is in first in the National League East now? |

I like the idea of the ChiSox adding Griffey but I'm afraid the defense will suffer. They either replace Swisher in CF with Quentin (a downgrade) or replace Konerko with Thome at 1B and DH Griffey (a downgrade, and I'm not sure if Thome can play the field regularly anymore). But if they can hold it together for a couple months it's a good move. I'm not even touching the Manny thing. The whole media shitshow that surrounds any big name leaving Boston is just tiring at this point. |

Yeah, I believe its in the "pending approval" stages. This move should help both teams.
Meanwhile, I guess Manny is getting his wish to leave the BoSox. I think the AL East will be celebrating the most if he gets traded to Florida.
