NSW, Dalton...I love you guys.

I just wish you were White Sox fans so that you could join me in celebration of the 2008 World Series Championship that we are going to win in October.

If you were sitting in the bleachers you would have heard some chanting:

"RIGHT FIELD SUCKS! RIGHT FIELD SUCKS!"

"LEFT FIELD SUCKS! LEFT FIELD SUCKS!"

I can't make that shit up. If you ever have the opportunity, take in a game at the Cell. Even zoney enjoyed himself. :foamfinger:

Wrigleyville is a cool place most of the time. My sister lived on Grace & Southport, just 3 blocks or so from Wrigley but the parking was so bad she and her roommate moved. Southport is where it's at as far as bars go. If you're ever in the city again hit up the bars on Southport. I'll meet ya there and buy you a drink.
i guess i fall into the tourist part...

and that's a deal

The Mets are 0–4 in Santana’s last four starts, during which he has a 2.07 ERA
well isn't that special.

Well if it makes you feel better the Sox have been hitting like dead cats for 4 games now...and Youkilis managed to get hurt throwing the ball around the infield.

santana would have been out of the inning yesterday if "gold glover" david wright would have made a routine play at third base. instead wright dropped the ball, santana made a good pitch, hernandez closed his eyes and his a grand slam.

go figure... he gave up 1 earned run yesterday, yet picked up the loss.

The Cell sucks, actually, but, they do have good food.

ETA - To be fair, the fans there are a notch above the drunken mess at Wrigley. So, crummy ballpark with no charm or surrounding area, at all, but, better fans by far.

The AL has made Philly look really bad this week. No offense whatsoever. Granted, the Phils got one of the toughest interleague schedules (Boston and LAA, and no easy team like Seattle), but still, I was hoping for more than they gave.

And Brett Myers is an absolute enigma.

When was the last time you went to a game at The Cell, NSW? Yeah, the food is delicious but they have actually made a lot of really nice improvements the last few years and I love it. It's my favorite place in the world to watch a ball-game.

I might be a little bit biased, though.

You'll have to get by the Angels first. In other words, not a chance, Buzz Sox.

I live in Chicago. I went about 10x last season, and was at all 3 games vs. the Yanks plus one other game this season. So, a few weeks ago was the last time I visited. Have they added some stuff since???

I might have even seen you. I even get in for free, so eat that.

You love it cos you're a Sox fan. I am unbiased and so I see the pros and cons of the place. If you'd rather watch baseball there than PNC or whatever the fuck the Giants ballpark is currently called, you're on teh crack.

Yankee Stadium is my favorite place to watch a game, due to my love for the Bronx Bombers, but, I cannot pretend like it's a better experience for a non-Yankee fan that many other stadiums.

Yeah now that I think about it I remember you saying that you were goin to the Cell a few weeks back. Haha no they haven't changed anything since then.

And I would LOVE to go to Yankee stadium by the end of this year, but it just isn't gonna happen.

I'm calling every fucking favor that I've accumulated in my professional career to go to the All-Star game. We'll see what happens. I also have tickets to the 3rd to last, and last games there. So, hopefully they make the playoffs, but if not, it's kind of cool to know that I'll be witnessing the last game ever played there, along with my best friend.

I'm probably being harsh on the Cell. It's fine, it just lacks character to me. But I've been to a lot of Stadiums and maybe I'm spoiled.

It's so early, and the AL is such a crapshoot right now, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Yanks make the playoffs. They have the talent.

best of luck on goin to the all-star game, that would definitely be amazing.

NSW: thoughts on Citizens Bank Park?

I personally love the atmosphere there, and only Camden Yards and Jacobs Field have rivaled it for me.
