Callie has been complaining that Fergus has more pictures on the Cat Thread than she does, so here are a couple of her. (She has no fangs--at her first vet check after we got her from the Humane Society, the vet couldn't tell whether they had been pulled, or whether they had just never descenced. She doesn't seem to miss them, and MrPurrl says that God knew what he was doing if he didn't give her fangs--she has "the calico gene" and can go spare on your hand with no warning!)

Here are a couple of recent pictures--Callie and Fergus coexisting, and Fergus trying to take a nap. ("I wish you'd get that camera out of my face.")

He is! When we first took him in (July 2006), he was malnourished and full of fleas; but he was very long and had very long legs. He has his "annual" appointment with the vet next Wednesday. I bet he's pushing 20 pounds now! He's a pretty sweet boy, though; and he and Callie get along well, for the most part. He still throws her on the floor on her back and slides her across the tiles once in a while, but not as much as he used to. She doesn't take much crap from him.

My next purchase. (None prescription, I presume?)

She finally came downstairs late this afternoon and has been acting relatively normal since then. She stalked squirrells, ate, followed me around as I fixed myself some grilled chicken and demanded she have some, though I think her tummy may be upset because she hisses when I pick her up, but she loves it when I pet her
Good news!!

MsPurrl - Callie and Fergus pic's..

I had Max, Jack and Lovey on my bed this afternoon when I was resting after I had just shooed them away earlier when I was moping and vaccuming.
Then I had the kitchen and bathroom's. I'm tired of cleaning for the weekend...

I'm sure Otto is around that 20 pound mark, though we don't own a scale and he has no visits to the vet coming up.

Now that Beckham thinks he can run out whenever he pleases, it's honestly easier just to have him outside than needing another person to post at the door while I bring stuff in. He hasn't worn a figure eight harness in almost 2 years but he didn't care (usually they flop over and act like they are dying or try to rub it off).

This reminds me, everyone needs Frontline...
I'm getting some frontline this weekend. Jack & Max want to go out all the time and Bela is tired of being cooped up also. I feel guilty for not letting them out but I don't have the energy to chase all of them back in.
It's a copycat thing. They see Lovey going out all the time and want to be outside too. Can't blame them, though. I can't stay inside too long before wanting out.

Good news. When I got up this morning Chloe had solid poop in her litterbox (I've never been so excited to see poo) and she had coughed up a HUGE hairball, so I think she's got all the nasty stuff out of her system and her behavior is pretty much normal.
