Yup. And then the next time you go to the bathroom, you momentarily wonder why your toilet seat is wet. That's a great feeling!

I worry sometimes that visitors will use my bathroom, experience the wet toilet seat phenomenon, and think ill of me and my toilet habits.

isabella used to drink out of the toilet all the time... In her older years she has become spoiled. Usually sneaking drinks out of our drinking glasses that are on a table somewhere. Now she has her own filtered cat drinking fountain.. spoiled ain't she...

Hey guys, I'm new to this thread, but I just adopted a kitten yesterday and wanted to share the news with interested parties. This has been a lifelong dream of mine; I was never able to get a cat when I was younger because my mother and grandmother didn't like them (explanation: "They're sneaky"

). And all the people I've lived with up until now have had allergies or some other issue.

Luckily, I'm in a house now where no one has any reservations, so one of my current roommates and I went to the shelter yesterday and after seeing a bunch of kittens and debating, we made our choice. We'll be picking her up from the vet today or tomorrow.

Pictures and more to come...glad to be part of the club.

I'm still new to this whole cat thing so anything she does just amazes me. I woke up this morning to Lily sleeping on my back

It wasn't all that comfortable but I didn't have the heart to move so I just stayed still until she eventually crawled off me and then currled up into a tight little ball next to me.

My mom says the SAME thing, "cats are so evil and sneaky!" She hates it when they are on the back of the couch. I couldn't care less. It's not like *I* want to sit on the back of the couch! Better them there than on the floor in the way. She can't stand it when they walk behind her shoulders. Right now I have two cats behind mine. Maybe they are planning to bite my jugular...but they aren't stupid, they know who feeds them!

One of mine will actually sit in the toilet if you leave the lid up...
