So I know I've mentioned that the ferals have brought me dead rats before and even a baby bird but Patches favorite thing to bring me is rubber bands! I think its the funniest and cutest thing ever. Sometimes in the early morning I can hear her doing the 'MMMRRROW MMMMROWWW' I believe while she is carrying it over to my patio. Zoey makes this noise when she's carrying her feather around in her mouth So I always know that when I hear her making those noises, there will be a rubber band or two on my patio waiting for me. She puts them right on the doorstep too. It's so cute. WHERE she could possibly get this many rubber bands is beyond me!!!

So I saved most of them..... haha. There are even some hair ties in there (no they are not mine!).

She is so weird but so adorable

Otto likes to play with those wire-type ties that you use to tie your bags in the produce section of the market. He'll chase them, and sometimes carry them around/bring them back to you

So hilarious Sicy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isabella makes that same "MMMRRROW" whenever she has her ribbon in her mouth and wants to play usually she does this at full volume as she goes up the stairs to our room. At the most inopportune times, like right after we fall asleep..

YES!! omg!! Zoey waits until I go to bed to "MMMRROWW" with her feather! It almost sounds like she's in pain or something, its so weird! it must be the noise they make when they catch their pray.. they want to announce it to everyone!

How about the plastic rings off of milk jugs? We have those all over the floor, and Fergus has been seen picking one up in his mouth and putting it in his water bowl.

Rubber bands. Now that's an original and a special trophy. You should feel honored, Sicy. She's getting into someones shop or garage, with the door open. Those are thrown on some table and she has access too them. Too cute.

Now someone tell me how to break my kitten of his obsession with cat litter. Max loves it and when I change the 3 litter boxes, he has to visit all of them. He meows and rolls around in it and doesn't even do anything. Just plays. Should he see a pet psychologist? or should I.

The twist ties are a favorite of the kittens. But I'm afraid of them. Jack get's too involved with things and I'm afraid he'll try to swallow them. Max and Jack will play/chase anything, including cat food they play with all over the kitchen. Right after Max has turned over the bowl and plays in the food.
But, you know,

Either that or maybe someone throws the rubber band off of their morning paper every morning. But some of the rubber bands seem old. I cant figure it out! I almost want to take a walk around the neighborhood to try and find the stash lol.

That is kind of weird about rolling around in the litter lol. Does he use the litterbox ok on a regular basis?

The rubber band thing is adorable. I read somewhere (maybe on one of the 1000 cat-related yahoogroups I read) about someone whose cat would bring them old socks from around the neighbourhood. Apparently, no one in the neighbourhood hung their clothes out to dry, so they have no idea where the cat was getting the socks, but they had a huge pile of mismatched ones in their back yard.

He really does look very regal there.

Talking of cats bringing things in, the black half siamese cat we used to have when i was younger used to bring the usual things in like dead birds. We lived behind a golf course so he also used to run onto the golf course and take the golfers balls. My mum said you used to hear shouts of "That bloody black cat again". We had a huge pile of the balls next to our bungalow.

Neo (the black cat in the red blankie camoflauge) is half siamese, too! He's big and muscular, like a panther. He's crazy about celery -- just wants to rub his head on the package, Crazy cat.

Jack's favorite toy is a big plastic "jack" (like you'd like jackrocks with?) We have 2 right now ... there are probably 10 hidden somewhere around the house. He plays fetch ... and I've seen him bring them up and line them up together on the bed (smart boy). I've also found them in my shoes and the bag I carry to work.

I've also found Jack with his arm up to his armpit in the toaster. I've had to put a box over it, don't want him to shock himself! Little idjit.
