Finally, some pics of Boomer & Oreo
![]() ![]() this was taken today, you can tell they are restless and dont like to be held at all! Boomer was 6lbs the last time they were at the vet (2 weeks ago) and Oreo is 6.5 lbs. They were born on 3/11/08, i brought them home from my parents around mothers day i think. Here are some pics when i first brought them home, they were just babies: ![]() playing in their box! ![]() rest assured, that makeshift box was very temporary until i could get better accomodations for them. To date they have had all of their shots, and next up for them is getting fixed. They love to go outside, though its too hot right now for them unless i let them out in the mornings for a couple of hours. |

OMG!! They are soooo cute! I love the pic of them both in the tiny litter box...so typical of kittens to want to play/sleep in their litter. Just adorable! ![]() |

thank you indra, yes thats very typical of both of them. When i first saw them, probably when they were 4 weeks old, they were obviously very tiny but very spirited. My parents had them in a climate controlled and lighted closet in the garage and they were in there with momma cat and their two sisters. It was funny because their two little sisters were so well behaved but Boomer & Oreo were playing and into mischief even then, rolling around and attacking each other, knocking over stuff, etc. It was at that point i told my parents i wanted the two boy cats.

While reading the kitteh thread, Murphy the Maine Coon came to start begging for his breakfast .... he's got his 'Summer hair cut," but if you look at his tail, you know how hairy this boy is:

Murphy sure is pretty and pardon me for saying but he looks a little bit annoyed that you haven't dropped everything and fed him yet
![]() Is that a catnip toy laying on the ground to his left? I ask because my kitties go wild over that stuff. I shouldn't give it to them because they get all crazy destructive and stuff, but i still do occasionally. |

Murphy thinks as soon as you're up, it's food time. He's like a Hobbit.
But if it's refrigerated, he doesn't like it cold, so it has to have time to warm up.That's not a catnip toy, but a fuzzy mouse. We have a catnip bag that has "Good Kitty" on one side (Figaro from Pinocchio) and "Bad Kitty" on the other side (the Siamese cats from Lady & the Tramp -- yes, I work for Disney). They all give it a good thumping every once in a while. ![]() |
