Loki likes to sleep right beside my keyboard (and often on my mousepad) when I'm on the computer. LBC has just recently decided he too wants to be be up here helping me. Loki is not amused.

Not sure if I posted this before but I like it. I think LBC looks so cute here.

These are my babies, the orange one is Tiffany and the black and white one is Delilah. They actually aren't babies, they are like 12 years old already! They are Persians and they are actually from the same litter. We bought them from a pet store (I know, if I knew better back then I would have rescued cats instead) and we were only going to buy one but the other would have been the only one left at the store so we got her too Delilah looooves to be with people and Tiffany thinks she is one of our three dogs Like, when the dogs are lined up getting treats, there she is sitting right next to them! Delilah has got to be 15-17 pounds even though she doesn't look it in the pics and Tiffany is tiny, she was the runt. She's probably like 7-8 pounds.

ETA they look weird because we had their fur shaved really short because it gets so hot in the summers here. In the winter they have beautiful long fur

Very cute pics BTW-
Yeah, he did. Shortly after he first arrived (he was an old stray tomcat) a little over four years ago he got into a fight with one of porch cats (I had a couple of cats who lived on the porch at the time) and got a pretty nasty scratch on his eye. I took him to the vet (took me two days to catch him, and then he got loose at the vet during the exam and had to be caught with a net -- Loki was a pretty wild child) and they stitched his eyelid shut so the eye could heal and got his shots and got neutered. It was a mighty eventful vet visit!

When he came home a day later I brought him in the house and had him stay in my bedroom so he could heal and none of the other cats could snag that stitch in his eyelid. About two weeks later we went back to the vet and had the stitch removed (and got the last of his shots). The eye healed, but there is the cloudiness from the injury. Loki became my little snuggle bunny (as long as I don't try to hold or restrain him) during that time.

Not so weird as we gave Murphy his own buzz cut here in Florida a couple of months ago (he needs another trim). Of course, we used scissors in multiple sessions, he's a scaredy cat and would not sit for a shave, I'm sure (telling stories on the boy, he always poops in his cage on the way to the vet -- just a mile up the road from the house! -- because he's scared). Your kitties are lovely.

No, he is the epitome of the "scaredy cat" (I think typical for a Maine Coon)! I'm outside of Orlando, where be you?

Do you mean when can they start making babies? lol.. if so yeah that's like 5 months.

But they technically become a 'cat' around 1 year old. They still grow up to 2 years old.

I changed my food last night, I got Felidae since my dogs eat Canidae. Beckham refuses to eat it, it's so funny! The girls chow down and he follows me around, meowing. When I point to the dish he looks in, sniffs, and then gives me a pouty look. I just walk away and finally he will eat a few pieces. Oh well, he's the fat one anyway! I just spent like $70 on foods so I'm not tossing it out just for him. It's a decent food and the others don't seem to care. The Natural Balance probably WAS making him fatter since he liked it so much.
