I wouldn't use the word hate but I can't stand that song.

Holy Hyperbole Ahoy!!! lol I love the album too and it's probably my fav Beatles album as well along with Revolver but I wish Come Together wasn't on it. Just a boring start to the album IMO.

Haha I know what you're trying to say here but it's still funny because Revolver is no way remotely indie!

Oh yeah, I know. It's just the cool pick now. My favorite was Pitchfork listing Tomorrow Never Knows higher than any other Beatles song on their top 200 greatest songs of the 60's list. It was a trailblazing composition, but that's just ridiculous.

I'm not a fan of Come Together, either.

And I guess we have to add another item to the list of Things That Screwtape Doesn't Like.

I didn't even bat an eye when he said that. I'm actually surprised Axver hasn't walked in to bash HCTS. But then my point would have been proven.

Well, I don't think that is that ridiculous. It is one of my favorite Beatles songs and honestly the ones I rank ahead of it aren't that popular.

Out of curiousity, which Beatles songs are your favorites?

That was actually directed at Screwtape, but I suppose I can read your list, too.

(edit: whoop, Screwtape got in there before my reply)

I haven't thought about my own favorites in quite a while. Compiling a list would be hard.

Real Love is nice. Definitely better than Free As a Bird.

Ticket To Ride is PERFECT. Nice to see that one get placed up there with the later-period classics.

I'm one of about 5 people who think Magical Mystery Tour is an absolute masterpiece. Even the weak songs are fascinating.

When I was about 13 years old, I spent an entire night compiling a top 100 Beatles songs list. I even had a little mark by each song denoting which Beatle had lead vocals on the song.

If I remember correctly my top 2 were I'm Only Sleeping and Strawberry Fields Forever...

This has probably changed, but if I dig up that list I might show it to you guys someday. It's probably pretty funny.

I'm one of those five too.

I listen to it more than anything else by The Beatles. One of the first albums I stole from my dad as a kid.

Ha, my dad and I once exchanged top 10 Beatles lists a few years back. He's a huge fan too. One of the Sgt. Pepper lovers.

My mom adores early period Beatles. We don't agree much on the band.
