My only problem with that one is that, although the songs are great, the dialog interludes are not. And they are tacked on to the end of the songs (i.e. not separate tracks).

I haven't heard the full album, but I have a great chunk of it on the Queen Of Soul boxset. Essential stuff!

Somehow I'm not really interested in buying these. I have Stadium Arcadium on MP3, but I rarely listen to it. It's a bit too generic (and might have been a really good single album if they left half of it off).

Personally, I think Gorillaz' debut album is pretty lousy. It's extremely scattered (more so than Demon Days) and I can't think of too many tracks I would come back to, but it has its moments. I guess if you started out with Demon Days and loved it, it's worth a shot.

Looking at your list LM, I think you might get the biggest kick out of The Chronic and Straight Outta Compton.

Those are two undeniable and classic hip-hop albums.

I'm actually already doing R.E.M.'s entire catalogue, I just hadn't put it there. I'm doing it in order, actually. I've done the first three so far.

Pearl Jam ... I can't see why not doing all of it unless I really dislike it (can't see that).
