The flow? What the fuck are you talking about?

Plus it's rather confusing when somebody says "yeah, I liked this, this, and this ... so I'm voting for the other person".

There's a difference between seeing the good in someone and patting them on the head in spite of themselves.
I could and may very well be wrong about this thought but shouldn't we make people feel good even if the things in their list that made you feel good are pretty small? Shouldn't you praise someone for even the littlest of thing? Am I wrong?

Yes. I think you owe it to them to at least give them constructive criticism if you want it fair and balanced.

Wow, that seemed a little over the top.

Yes, you should praise the person for what they do right. This is an important part of any good critique. I did the same with you.

But then there's everything else. The bad shouldn't be looked over simply because it makes the person rethink what they're doing. If anything, *GASP* that's the very reason they should hear the negatives! I'm 99% positive of this.

To play devil's advocate, (which isn't hard as some of you probably think I am the devil ) isn't one of the biggest problems about Desert Island the criticisms that drive people away from the game?

No. Ridiculous criticisms, like having an optional concept or not, keep people from wanting to participate.

I see your point. I think my reasoning is wrong.
