She played the kid's mom. I thought she was great.

She completely took me out of that movie... the scene with her in the fat suit was a lesson in over-acting.

I'm not going to lie, Justin Timberlake was the best thing about it.

Yeah, but I think that was the point. She was supposed to be completely unhinged due to the death of her son and the stepson's role in the whole scenario.

Timberlake was definitely the best thing about the movie! He was awesome! Hell, I almost cried at the end when he had to lie to the kid.

I think that Sharon Stone is one of those celebrities that based on her personal comments/attitudes/etc.etc. ............. makes me want to place her on ignore mode.

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that the scene felt out of place and that she can't act.

That ain't a "fact". That's your "opinion" that the scene "felt" out of place.

Let's move on because I really couldn't give a rat's ass about Sharon Stone, but she did give a good performance in Alpha Dog as well as, of course, Casino.

You just got Prycked, YLB! Go get it on with him in the Wrestling thread.

I know what I said, and what an opinion is, thank you very much. I'm not going to go around adding "in my opinion" to the end of every post, but maybe I should so some can pick up on that. Figures of speech much? How do you pronounce Pryck, by the way?

Casino's technically brilliant... but I can't say I enjoyed it. There was a bit of a discussion about it in one of the older Random Talk threads right after I saw it.

C'mon peeps, Sharon Stone was badass in Total Recall and there's more to her role in Basic Instinct than a crotch shot. I liked her in Broken Flowers recently too. I'm not saying she's awesome, but she's had her moments.
