PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii ????

After weighing it over, I'm selling my ps2 (just sold my xbox) and going for the PS3, as long as I can get the 20G or 60G for backwards compatibility. Of the games I really want, only Ninja Gaiden II and Dead or Alive games are 360 exclusives. And there's a good chance of NGII being ported.

Also, if I'm spending that much money, I don't want to live in fear of the Red Ring of Death.

Also, FFXIII.

Rockstar confirms GTA IV downloadable content is Xbox 360 exclusive gamesindustry.biz — A spokesperson for Take Two Interactive Software, Inc (parent company of Rockstar Games) has today confirmed that downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV will be exclusive to Xbox 360. The representative said: "The Grand Theft Auto IV episodic content is exclusive to Xbox 360."

I've never enjoyed a GTA title. Like I said, Team Ninja's games are about it for me where Xbox semi-exclusivity is concerned.

I found a used 60 GB PS3 and traded in my PS2 and the rest of my XBox games. I'm going to miss KOTOR and DOA, but I did pick up Ninja Gaiden Sigma and it's stunning. Also, Devil May Cry 4. So far I'm quite pleased, though I'm not thrilled about trying to transfer my saves. I've been finding approximations online and copying them over with a usb stick, though, and that seems to be working well enough for PS2 games and any PSOne Final Fantasy. I just don't want to pay 15 bucks for something I'll use once.

I never understood the fanboy mentality over consoles.

I haven't bought any of the next gen yet...very few of the new games appeal to me and I still have a very large PS2 game back catalogue to explore.

GTA has always bored me so it has never been a selling point. I'll probably end up getting a PS3 just because of FFXIII and MGS4, two of my favourite franchises....and also because the PS3 will still get the greatest Japanese developer support, which are the majority of games I own.

That said I may still get a 360 sometime down the line, but at the moment there is nothing that makes me want to purchase any of the consoles right now.

Since Sony is the owner (or biggest stake-holder) of Blu-Ray that could be interesting...

Eh I will still keep my HD-DVD player. It can up convert to almost HD, plus I am liking the HD downloads.

Hi There,

Thought I woud post what I have, since its saturday arvo and I'm bored.


so it all started with a Xbox 360 which AT THE TIME was really awesome. then I got a few games and stuff.....then.....whoops I get the three red lights of death.

Ok, So I just call Micro$oft and get it fixed right?.....well I don't have exactly much free time, so I tried them when possible (mostly on friday nights/saturday afternoons) this went on for about 4 weeks, and each time I called I sat on the phone for an hour just to be on hold.....so instead of wasting more money sitting on the phone I sent them an e-mail explaining what was wrong......Micro$oft'$ reply?.....Give them a call!

So I gave up, all my games were sold on ebay, and the console is just collecting dust....in its box, maybe i'll go and throw it at Bill Gates one day

So, to SOLVE my problem, I went out and brought a Pricey PS3 (one of the "last" 60GB's I could find, well in Oz anyway.)

Ever since then have had not one single problem (apart from my TV in need of an upgrade) The PS3 has been awesome!

Safe to say, in what few gaming years i might have left, I won't be going near a micro$oft product again!....at least for a console.
