En mi opinion esta entre Soda Stereo, Cafe Tacuba y Caifanes

(mencion honorifica para los Heroes del Silencio y Fabulosos Cadillacs)

La Ley es pop disfrazado de rock

Café Tacuba indiscutiblemente, pues Soda Stereo no es tan grandioso como todos dicen

y de las bandas nuevas de rock independiente me gusta:
San Pascualito Rey
Chikita Violeta
La Habitación Roja
Thermo
Sad Breakfast

Aunque hay otros grandes como Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Seru Giran y, como solistas, Charly Garcia y Fito Paez.

Cafe Tacuba no es rock.

el merito de soda stereo es haber sido el grupo de rock más "grande" de latinoamerica.. en un sentido más bien geográfico y pues obviamente lo que ellos hacían se veia super novedoso (no estoy diciendo que sea malo eh? ) pero en ese entonces no eran los unicos ni los mejores...

yo voy a sonar super naca aqui... pero a mi me parece super divertido el rock en español de los ochenta, los prisioneros y los toreros muertos, etc... son super bacanos... porque trajeron cosas nuevas aquí y las popularizaron.. yo no creo que vuelva a haber un movimiento igual de grande en estos días

yo soy flojita para el rock en español... màs bien me gustan algunos grupos de ska como la mojiganga y panteón rococo...
