Old Post 10-19-2006 10:23 AM - Need help with Zoom G2.1u effects!
I just got myself a ZOOM G2.1u unit and a new strat guitar. Been messing around with it and i've managed to cough out some effects that is playable to some of the U2 songs.

Was hoping if anyone who owns or uses this unit can share some of their set ups for any U2 song.....

i.e Sreets, pride, One etc.....

Your participation is much appreciated!

i think this topic would be best of in the ebttrt forum

on a similar note, i have the bass version of this pedal (the b2) brilliant for the price!!. i was just messing around and started playin the guitar intro to streets on the bass (pitch shift up one octave and delay)
i was wondering if anyone could help me with settings too! (ie. chorus for the old live songs) thanks!

if you use that Streets setting, it actually sounds perfect for live intro to City of Blinding Lights.

just keep picking the b string on the 9th fret then slide to 8 then 11, 8, 9

basically, its the settings a digital readout of the dials of normal stompboxes.

so the reverb settings you said are

hl - reverb similar to the acoustics of a hall
03 - duration of the reverb
05 - tone quality
26 - mix with the original tone and the 'reverbed' tone
