A bit unreal as it's a little longer than they are used to play but it certainly is my dream Popmart setlist. I feel that Edge could use an electric guitar for The Playboy Mansion over the B-Stage in the same style we hear on the background of the studio version cause I'm not sure if it would work with an acoustic guitar.

It's interesting to see that nearly everyone so far has included Do You Feel Loved?.
I hope they include this as a bonus track on the upcoming Popmart DVD. It's brilliant song.

Agreed, but did they ever manage to preform it well? The version they did opening night in Vegas was cringe worthy...

Ive got that version from Vegas and i think it's pretty cool. I love the sound of edge's guitar. They don't sound very tight playing it, like they hadn't rehersed it much, it sounds like more of a loose jam to me, but i like it. That's what live music is all about.

Not many would agree with you on that but I like it too, musically at least, Bono's voice was not at his best though...

Do You Feel Loved is one of my favorite songs of ever, but I've only heard one live version of it (from Popmart Denver) and I didn't think it was anything special. I can't quite put my finger on why it didn't work for me, though... the tempo of the song is a problem if you want it to be exciting live; I think it'd be great for dancing to in a club or something, but it feels sort of flat when they perform it. And the singing -- Bono's voice is actually in very good shape, but it lacked the attitude of the studio version.

Maybe I just don't have a good live version? Can anyone point me in the direction of a really kickass one?

Well the first pop sets looked good, albeit with some irrelevant crowpleasers like Pride, ISHFWILF & Bullet & a silly/stupid kareoke. Later the set was worse with AIWIY, Desire and New Year's Day and Miami, Do You Feel Loved and IGWSHA dropped.

The biggest mistakes were getting rid of IGWSHA and Miami. ISWSHA worked really well during Popmart Vegas. If they would have stuck with it, the song would have become a great part of the show. It's also bad to remove the song from the setlist when trying to promote a single.
